White water week

This is 5 day training and assessment course covering all the basic personal skills in Kayaking. Participants need to be at least 15 years. It will be run in 4 different locations by fully qualified instructors. Upon completion participants will receive certificate. This is an exciting week for the adventurous water babies!

It is a 5 day course. The week will consist of:

1. •Day 1 - Kayak training on Drumharlow Lake, Cootehall
   

2. •Day 2 - Kayak training on Drumharlow Lake, Cootehall
   

3. •Day 3 - Kayak surfing Streedagh beach, Sligo
   

4. •Day 4 - Shannon river trip moving water, north of Drumbshanbo
   

5. •Day 5 - White water expedition on Boyle river or Inny river
   

6. •Day 5 - Students will be assessed for their level 1 & 2 certificate in personal skills. Students will achieve one of these certificates.
   

€150.00 per person - This cost includes:

2. •Equipment, kayak, paddle, spray deck
   

3. •Wet suit, cagoule, helmet,
   

4. •Transport of all equipment and gear to and from each location

7. •Kayak training and assessment course for level 2 kayaking as per
   

8. •Irish Canoe Union syllabus and guidelines. The participants are trained and assessed by qualified instructor Deirdre Cunningham and certified by Irish Canoe Union. All activities fully insured.
